I cant finish it. DARN!
November 17, 2008I woke up in the sound of rain hardly touching the roof. It was raining non-stop, and I saw my sister playing at the backyard. She had the most euphoric smile I’d ever seen. Watching her made me happy while I sat beside the dusty window of the living room. Suddenly I remembered how I used to dance in it every time it rained in my hometown. My friends and I will go outside playing hide-and-go-seek, splashing rain water at each other, and wishing that the rain won’t stop. Turning my sight to the kitchen, I saw my mother cooking food for dinner. I am intrigued by the aromatic smell from the freshly cooked soup. I could hear the clanging of the plates and silverwares while she sets them in. It feels like old times, when I can smell my mom’s hair as she holds me up on her shoulders.
